My chicken could have been blackened more but my cabbage, collards,cornbread was super delicious. The Biscoff cake was very good. Overall I will give my dinner a 9 out of 10
Salmon Cake Dinner review by Jennie
The salmon cake was delicious and fried crispy on outside. I paired it with cabbage,collards, and a big hunk of buttery cornbread. All was outstanding!! I also had the strawberry cake with cream cheese icing to go. Very moist and good.

My husband had the 2 piece fish boat with cabbage and cornbread. He said it was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and large portions.

If you're looking for an amazing brunch spot, Croaker's Spot in Petersburg is definitely worth the visit! I ordered the waffle brunch, and it was absolutely spectacular. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant itself was spotless, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Great food, outstanding customer service, and a clean environment made for an all-around wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back and highly recommend Croaker's Spot to anyone looking for an incredible brunch in Petersburg!

Can't go wrong with the Eggleston's Fried Fish Boat. The fish is perfectly seasoned. The potatoes and cornbread are perfectly done. Everything tasted fresh. Absolute heaven.

Although I don't live in Richmond, Virginia, the hotel staff recommended Croaker's restaurant as a must-visit for authentic Southern Soul food. I went there with three childhood friends, and we were impressed by both the flavor and generous portions. The fish was perfectly fried, just how it should be, and the cornbread was light and cake-like, making it absolutely delicious. The seasoned collard greens and magnificent candied yams complemented the meal beautifully. The shrimp and the crab medallions were fried perfectly. We couldn't finish all the food, which left us with enough leftovers for the next day. I highly recommend Croaker's to anyone visiting Richmond, Virginia. I would also like to add that the restaurant is very accommodating, and the friendly staff makes the experience even better.
